We're not an ordinary cattery, we're a home cattery, our kittens are raised with love, in the comfort of our home.
Country Maine Coon we are a breeder of quality Maine Coons located in Northern California. Country Maine Coon is committed to producing healthy, well-adjusted, friendly, gorgeous, Maine Coon cats, which make loving and loyal companions. We want all of our babies to go to loving homes as "PETS" only.
We also take pride in offering our kitten buyers lifetime support through either text or email. We thoroughly enjoy our extended family and all the pictures and up-dates we get from many of you DAILY.
Our foundation cats are ALL from International Champion Show parents, both fathers and mothers, which have been re-registered here in the USA with CFA and/or TICA. When researching this breed years ago, prior to getting into the breed, we made it our goal to locate where the healthiest Maine Coons were in the world and found that many were come. We're interested in Quality, not Quantity.
Relative to American Maine Coons, the European Maine Coons are bred more often to the extreme to look a little wilder or more natural, with lion-like, chiseled muzzles, larger ears, and pronounced lynx tipped ears. Breeders affiliated with the CFA tend to breed "refined" Maine Coons, while the breeders affiliated to TICA breed wild looking Maine Coons.
The reason for this is, all cats in Europe and the surrounding countries belong to the World Cat Federation (WCF) registry. We were told that WCF requires all breeding cats to be finished show champions, and to be tested for dozens of genetic defects BEFORE they can be used as breeders, producing registrable offspring. Therefore, our foundation breeders are from parents with perfect conformation and perfect health, being free of all genetic defects affecting this breed.

Deposits
We require a $250 deposit to reserve any kitten. The deposit will naturally be deducted from the kittens purchase price.
Our Clients love our Cattery
We believe in an on-going relationship with all of our kitten buyers after they leave with one of our babies and encourage up dates and pictures (especially pictures) as time goes by, and encourage our kitten buyers to contact us after the sale, if need be, via phone, text or email for all after-sale support.

Health guarantee
Your kitten/cat is guaranteed for one year, from the date of purchase, against any life threatening congenital (born with it) or hereditary (inherited from its ancestors) condition which adversely affects its health. And, for 15 days against any contagious diseases from the date of sale (excluding internal and external parasites). To see this law and your options, go to California Health and Safety Codes HCS# 122070 to 122075 specifically. These are the laws for our state and what we adhere to.
